Hi. I plan on making my own ITB set up. If I choose to use the OEM throttle body(gutted) to act as a servo and a plenum, would I be able to use the MAF and tune from the stock ECU?

To make it more clear, i am thinking of using the following:
BMW throttle bodies
plenum
Cold air intake
maf

 

What kind of engine?

Like stock stock ECU or Uprev ECU?

Its the stock ecu for 08 vq35hr.

 

I don't see why not. I did something similar on a T8D using the electrical components for the stock throttle hooked up to the ITB's, how are you tuning the stock ecu though?

 

iidead thats what I was thinking. How do I tune with the stock ecu? I don't really want to spend on a Haltech or Motec. I am located in Toronto.
Maybe something with a MAP like the UTEC?

 

Utec doesn't work for the HR (as far as i know)
