Yeah, just to clarify... We are talking about 2004.5 ECUs aren't we? My car is a 2004 model year (albeit sedan) but my ECU has been reprogrammed by TS.

If anyone can "crack the '04 code", it is Tadashi. I am extremely sorry to hear that he has health problems. I had the opportunity to meet him at the first shoot that Mr. Twisted had for the Z owners, then spent time talking to Tadashi at the Performance Nissan meet. Finally, I spent most of a day at Technosquare while having my '03 reflashed talking to Tadashi and watching them convert a brand new Z into a racing machine. Tadashi is extremely knowledgeable and loves to talk cars. Besides that, I found him to be a gentleman in every sense of the word. I wish him the best and hope his health returns quickly.

** UPDATE 8/31/04 **

hey guys-
sorry i've been absent from the forums, just been busy at work, and the stupid smart filter isnt helping much-

so updates on the 2004.5 ECU status:
TechnoSquare's lead programmer (Tadashi) should have the 04.5 program (software changes) completed on or about the 15th of September. There are some proprietary info i cant release just yet. but they said there were significant changes to the code but they have successfully edited the key points and will begin dyno testing next month. (YAY!!) This includes 04.5 G35 & 350Zs.

Tadashi is extremely talented, i dont even know why he is still working so hard, he should take a break, but he said that this helps get his mind off of stuff- well, i wish him the best of luck,

More updates soon-

Cheston

If a thread gets no replies, it'll move further down the page. You Reply with "BUMP" or "TTT" (To The Top) to bring it back to the top of the page so people will see it, OR to make it easier to find.

what are the advantages to a reflash, as aposed to a piggyback or stand alone ecu. bwhp, fi, overall smoothness in the powerband, and warrenty all play a factor. what will the z handle until a piggyback/standalone is required.
