Default N/A e-manage

I don't have a 350z but I have a maxima and the coil packs and wiring should be very alike. I wanted to see how it worked on my car N/A before I put the turbo on. Has anybody been able to increase timing if so by how much. Did you dyno? Did you see any gains? A smoother running car? I remember a post awhile back but didn't find it.

The e-manage will work for N/A or FI applications. What do you mean by increasing the timing? Are you talking about timing advance? I don't know much about your car, so I can't really tell you how much advance/retard you actually need. How much power you will make is dependent on how good of a tuner you are. Someone in the RX-8 Forum utilizes an e-manage, and he's seen as much as 30 hp.

Yes, the eManage only retards ignition. No advancing option. The only thing that you could do would be to get a TS flash and "globally" increase your advance, then use the eManage to retard down to where you want it.

You can check out my eManage on an N/A Z thread and it might answer a lot of your questions.

I don't know. That's just the way it is.
I don't think that the S-AFCII does timing at all.

Someone told me since we use didodes we can't advance timing. He said untill we find a way to wire it without the didodes we can't advance timing.
