going to talk to my boss tomorrow about a 1/2 day during the week... I'm away down the South Coast again this weekend

 

Has anyone been yet?

I've just read a report (on 4car) that the 350z is locked away in a giant display case.

I'm a "rugged" 6ft 4 and worried that I won't fit in the Z. One of my main reasons for going to the show was to try it out for size.

If I can't actually get at the car I might save my train fare and wait for Goodwood.

The car is on display, same as at Brands etc. but certainly not in a "no touch display case". Why do the press always exagerate!

Maybe the press weren't allowed in as it was their sticky fingers the Nissan peeps wanted to keep away from their car?

 

We went down to Motor Expo at the weekend and saw the Z in the flesh for the first time - very nice!!

Actually seeing the car and getting to sit in it has made the Z seem much more real and I'm starting to get quite excited about the whole thing now.

The Nissan guys on the stand were very helpful - especially once I mentioned that I had one on order. The guy (sorry didn't get his name) even started her up and let her growl a bit -


He also hinted that they might be bringing a few extra cars to Goodwood. He said that Nissan might bring a few more into the country especially for the event. Roll on July.

The only downer from the weekend was that I forgot to take my camera with me


Still not sure about the orange leather though!
