I have a few more things I need for this trip.

Camera Mount, Ipod Attachment, Cusco Roll Cage, Harnesses, SS brake Lines & install my SS clutch line with new fluid, Rotors & Motul, Braille Batt (ordered), Carbon Hatch. I would be done until next year.

 

I should probably get some new front pads and the SS clutch line looks pretty cheap. Fill that up with some good clutch fluid. No idea how much that would cost me though (or how it would effect the feel of the clutch). My front brakes only have like 25k on them, but they were installed lousy first time around (I didn't do it lol). I should have, would have been less hassle.

 

In case you missed it earlier, take hand held radios (walkie talkies) because cell phones don't work there.

 

I need my harness's/ roll bar stereo, a new set of wheels/ tires and a front lip.

 

Well I need even more than that, but I was staying somewhat realistic (for me) lol.

But hey, I will take a supercharger, nice body kit (Vizage anyone?), wheels, I could go on.

I will be buying some two-way radios shortly. All of these sites say you need an FCC license? I am pretty sure that is just to be legal, if it isn't actually required for the damn two-way to work I am not paying $80-100 for one lol.

 

I forgot I need new brake pads a fluid swap, or actually 2 sets of pads 1 for the dragon and 1 too get me home. Im contemplating a set of r compounds for while Im up there.

 

I'm talking about during the Friday morning/afternoon Zdayz Poker Run when the guy went over the side and died. Obviously many bikes went down, and other people hurt/died over the past year.

WTF? Man how are you going to go through a set of pads? First of all, there will be a lot of us, so its no race course. It is a road, and there are cops. There is no way you should burn through a set of pads.

 

yeah if you burn through pads on a 11 mile trip i will sell my Z

and on the pads u just need a good set. get some ferodo 2500 pads. i had those on for two years of autox and several dragon trips (u know how i drive on the dragon ) and they still had half their life left when i changed them out. add some good fluid and maybe some lines and u should be good to go!

I'll be coming down with a group of people, this will be my second year. I'm not actually staying at fontana though, we have a cabin like 45 minutes away. If anyone from ohio wants to caravan down with us we're coming down thursday morning.

 

I talked to one of the guys over zdayz and they are working on updating the website now, as for getting a room or cabin at the resort, they are all out of rooms, i got the last cabin today, that has air conditioning and tv. There is still some cabins left with out them. If anyones coming from mississippi and wanna join me your more than well come. The cabin i got has a single king bed and two twins so if anyone runs outta space i might be able to hold two.
