But you go to that Orange school...

Seriously, since you're so close, plan on being here for the 4th of July.

I just realized, at least 1/3rd of this trip is through VA. Radar detectors are illegal in VA. FTL!!

I guess I could claim ignorance if I got caught? lol

Looks like my route is to the west of virginia, so I'm good. If you do happen to find myself in Virginia and I get pulled over for it, I'll just tell the truth: I'm driving from Minnesota to North Carolina in one day. Maybe he'll pity me

I'm pretty sure such a device exists.

I believe you would be correct on that. What a waste of time though. But like I said, ignorance? I am not from VA lol and last time I was in the state I didn't have a drivers license.

This is true. They have radar detector detectors. No lie.

But models from like 2004+ have the cloaking thing. I guess there's one way to find out if it works.

ACTUALLY...

now that you have said that Silverstone, I know for a fact that mine claims it has such a device. Well shall find out won't we haha.

IT says:

"invisible to VG2 radar detector detectors". Hmm, we will find out lol.

But then it says:
"360° laser protection" Protection from what? If it goes off, you are caught haha.

If your detector is passive I don't see how this is possible.

Some cheap passive radar detectors actually emit a weak radar signal (K or X band). My V1 always picks them up as "junk" noise.
