closest is raleigh-durham, nc.. stupid southwest. i have free flights with them and was thinking i could use them for this.. dammit.

edit.. wtf i just realized fontana village is in nc, not sc. hmmmmmmmmm.

 

It's the closest large airport to Fontana Village (60 miles away).

I wouldn't trust flying on a small puddle jumper into one of the small local airports.

 

What about Asheville?

what is up with expedia telling me there are no nonstop flights between LA and either knoxville or ashville? wth?
and i don't mind if it's a bit further from zdayz, i'd most probably rent a car, a 350z if i can... i can't be at the dragon and not drive it!

 

onedirtyZ I am sure some of the rental places will rent Zs, but my guess is you would have to be at a larger airport for that (Raleigh?). Either way you are going to have a pretty decent hike even after the plane ride since this place is in the middle of nowhere.

Also maybe call the airline direct. My mom was just planning a trip to VA, 2 or 3 site said no flights for what she wanted. She called Delta and BAM, a flight.

Sometimes I get a weak signal with my Bel RX65 Pro too. Normally when it beeps and shows 1 or 2 (out of 10) and there is no cop in sight, means someone has a cheap as Cobra or something. I have also picked up Radar jammers and it confuses the hell out of the radar detector. Note: if someone you are with has a jammer, turn off your detector lol.

Atlanta is only ablut 150 miles away. Should have alot of rentals to choose from and I am sure they should have nonstop flights.

Mapquest says 187 miles from Atlanta Airport, estimated time 3 hours. I would say about 2 hours maybe 2.5 depending on driver. Most Z drivers would take 2 or less lol.

 

Prob true, especially with 405 whp.

 

I think everyone made it from Atlanta to Fontana in like 3 hours ;ast year.
