Alright guys we are going to try and get together for a Nor Cal East Bay meet. I would like to start a thread that members can sign up so that everyone knows who is coming. Also this will be a place to put in idea's for locations, changes, suggestions. or whatever. We are having our first meet June 13th at 7Pm Pyramid Brewery 901 Gilman St Berkeley, Ca 94710. (510)527-9090 http://www.pyramidbrew.com/alehouses/berkeley.php. We will then start to meet every Friday at 7Pm but maybe change the location from time to time. For those of you who are interested afterwards we can go cruise around the East Bay, see a movie, shoot some pool, or chill at the bar. Please sign up on this page. Hope to see you all there.

What happen to these people? Malibuboy 54? RiyazSF? AJV? Project DSR? zBEAR? JSDZ33? Mcarther101? They have not sign up yet. Common people, show that you are a real Z enthusiast and join the meet.

 

Project DSR was not able to make it this week. The others might show but cannot commit at this time. First meet will still be good we have 7-10 people showing for sure. I'm sure it will grow over the next few weeks. Oh if you guys are interested there is a BBQ in Sac the 22nd so maybe we could all meet up and drive there together.

So I was at Pyramid tonight with some local Riders. Parking lot was good. Did not seem like anyone would have a problem getting in and out. I am going to try and make reservations for about 15 people. If more show than its cool Im sure they can deal with it. I passed by a tire shop right before I got to Pyramid. This place was closed and had a nice size parking lot right along the road. I was thinking it might be cool to park there we could hang out for a few talk and then walk across the street for dinner. I think the address is 820 Gilman St. So if you exit the highway coming from Oakland you would take a right of the exit the tire shop is on the right across the street from Pyramid. I will try and get there early and park right out front. Look for a blue Z. My cell is 678-485-0564 if any of you get lost just give me a call. See you all there.

Hey guys meet was good had an 8 car turn out which was not bad for the first East Bay meet. I had a good time and enjoyed meeting all of you. Hopefully we can plan the next one somewhere warmer because damn it was cold. Nilo thanks for the girls gifts. Lets talk about a central place thats alittle warmer. Dont know if you guys would be willing to move it up towards Pinole, Hercules, or we could go out more south like Oakland Airport area. Let me know everyones thoughts and I will start to research places. Pyramid well it was packed and we found out that parking was a pain. I mentioned alittle about the BBQ in Sac. I know its far but there are about 80 Z's that are planning on going. I'm looking into parks over in this area with parking, grills, and no cold weather. I'll keep you posted. Have a good weekend.

 

Thanks to you Chris for organizing the meet. It was nice meeting you all. You all set up your cars very nice. Now, my son wants to trade in his 5 series bimmer to a Z. Nice to be part of the East Bay Z enthusiast. Till the next meet my friends.

one of the better places for a meet is somewhere between eastbay and sac...for instance Vacavillle outlet is centrally located and has plenty of parking space.

 

Yeah I thought about the Vacaville area but quite a few of us are coming from South Bay so that would be roughly an hour drive plus going acorss the bridge. I know the weather is great up there and you have plenty of places to meet but alittle to far. I will keep you guys posted on where we are going to meet this week. I think its either going to be in Emeryville at East Ocean, or in Oakland somewhere close to the airport.
