ZdayZ 2009
ZCON dates have been set for over a 2-3 years and haven't changed. We also told the other organizers our dates and they didn't really move them so they wouldn't conflict sadly. We even discussed the dates with them and all they did was instead of moving it from the week after they moved it to the week before the ZCON event instead of maybe a few weeks later/before.
People will have to make the decision on which events they can make. Any of them would be great events I am sure!

This year was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Could have done without all the rain for the 2 day drive down though. Met a lot of real great people there too and felt very honoured and fortunate to be directed to the front row for the group photoshoot.
I was really looking forward to 09 but it seems that organizers from the different Z venues didn't get their dates deconflicted.
Now a lot of Z owners may have to make a choice between ZDayZ or BZF, unfortunately.
I really like to return to The Tail of The Dragon but I've never been to BZF and would like to experience that one at least once.

I was really looking forward to 09 but it seems that organizers from the different Z venues didn't get their dates deconflicted.
Now a lot of Z owners may have to make a choice between ZDayZ or BZF, unfortunately.
I really like to return to The Tail of The Dragon but I've never been to BZF and would like to experience that one at least once.

I'll get with the midwest and BZF people and let them know the dates for zdayz 2010 and 2011, I may post it on the website so everyone can see it.

This is more along the lines of both ZCON and Z Nationals conflicting. We can't move our timeframe due to the fact Nissan can only do it at a certain time anyways. So that is why we have such a lead time in when ZCON is planned.
The contract for FVR was signed two years ago. We moved from the two weeks before memorial day to the weekend to remove other conflicts. I alreasy have the contract for 2010 and will sign the contract for 2011 when we are at ZDAYZ in May. I feel bad for BZF, but there is nothing we can do about it. Fontana is booked solid at least a year in advance. May is a very busy time of year for them, last year I attended several other groups events and they truly have events qued up like airplanes trying to land at the airport, one after the other, all summer long.

I understand, NNA is courting my Club to do ZCON in 2011, I don't think our club members will stand up enough, crap 5 of the 6 staff members of ZdayZ are from that club.
