Who cares, Hraes is frying chicken. What else is there to wish for?

 

I remember my first ZdayZ's when we got to fontana... My buddy and I went up to the gas station and we opened the coolers. We stared blank for a solid 30 seconds or so till the lady asked "What do ya need"

We turned and just said. Beer?

Then she went on to some dry county stuff... I'm from Michigan. I've never heard of this before... so I waited till she finished and then asked. Soooo do ya got vodka?

lol. Those were rough times in Fontana.

 

*** that noise. The Old Lady and I are importing our cabin's drinks from SC. Bringing a 1/2 keg plus some...

 

So true! My first visit we were eating dinner and ordered beer. The waitreess said "dry county" and I rolled my eyes. No wine, no nothing! The next year there was an open bar for dinner only!!
Hence why the cabins are so loaded w/ booze!!

 

Sorry we are hoping to have regitration open by the end of next week 1/17/09

 

Ahh the good old days, I think I would still trade dry county for the old 55 speed limit on the dragon.

I know last year my GF and I went up to Fontana with the Exige of course... but more of relaxing. Their resort restaurant up there is FANTASTIC!

Still blows my mind there is such thing as a DRY anything... Who doesnt drink booze and can be trusted?

 

If it has this view then it is the one I was in last year. The shower is kinda rotted.

I'm planning to head down the weekend before and visit relatives in the Knoxville area. A good place to do last minute detailing or mods to the car.

I'll use the Z to make a business trip to Columbia, SC on Tuesday and one to Chattanooga on Wednesday. (Charging mileage to the company - hehe)

I should be free very early Thursday morning if volunteers are needed to help setup.
