Since FVR is sold out, are there any other places to stay that are recommended?

Tapoco Lodge is probably the closest off-site lodging. It's right at the base of The Dragon just south of the Deal's Gap Gas Station. It's a fun drive between Tapoco and Fontana.

Sorry to hear that. I did get sponsor information and I'm still working on it. It's not my company that would sponsor but a company I used to work for. I'm planning to make a trip down there to meet with them in a few weeks. Hang tight, I'm still trying.

But no one wanted to go to Cleveland for ZCON.

Dallas ZCON had over 400 people at the Convention.

We already have over 90 people registered 8 months in advance for 2009 ZCON to give you guys a hint. We are expecting a lot. Especially since Z1 Nationals are doing a caravan down to ZCON at the end of their event, and we are located dead center of the United States.
