Just got off of the phone with FVR, they only have a couple of cabines left and about lodge rooms and 4 cabanas left. You better make reservations quick! register for th event while your at it
It definitely wears you down depending on your ability and rate of travel. The simplest of suspension setups makes a word of difference too. I had been on "NE Mountain Runs" prior to my struts and springs and they made a difference for sure. Feels more solid, and less roll.
I don't know how hard you have driven your Z, but imagine riding a hair pin turn (that are all banked in your favor btw) at good enough clip that you have to turn the wheel complete upside down. Doesn't make sense or seem to crazy to you? Wait until you do it.

I still have a few cabins I'm holding for sponsors but I think we are about concrete on sponsors so I will have a few to release back for public consumption. I think I'll be releasing about 5 or so. They are also holding some of the more "rustic" cabins as they are not sure they want to rent them, they do not have central AC or Heat but they are cheap. $99 a night for 2 bed room 1 bath. They are called Dogwoods. If you want to "rough it" it is basically a solid wall tent but if you call them and they say there are no cabins left, try asking for a dogwood, tell them you know they are available and that they do not have heat or AC. They might let you rent them.
I'm just about ready for ZdayZ. It is only January and the staff and I have been working on ZdayZ for months now. It is really solidifying nicely now. I wish more people would register. seems odd that FVR is sold out and i have 13 people registered

Ive been in the Dogwoods! They aren't that bad!! Make them sound like a cave or something... there really isnt anything to rough at Fontana! Maybe I'm speaking from Michigan cabins that are normally a "walled tent" hahaha

I was in the Army and there were many night I would have loved to had a dogwood over the sleeping conditions I had then.
I was in one last year, the one right across from the rec hall and at the end of the parking lot by the car wash area(mini put golf). Over all it was a nice cabin and definitely worth the money(since 3 people backed out and left me hanging on the bill), but the shower stall was kinda grody and rotten that was my only complaint. Other wise you did not need the ac, heat would have been kinda nice though it was cold in the morning.

Not sure if we are sticking around Fontana for Saturday or go cruising up the mountain!
Plus it isn't like I can show up for the Dam photo or partake in the car show lol

Is the dam photo and car show taking place at the same time?
Edit: why isnt this a sticky like the ZCON thread?

I appreciate the registration, you'll have to take me for a spin in the lotus
No one wants to look at that little ugly car... but sure! I'll give ya a ride but I take it easy unless I'm at the track! Car can get twitchy on road bumps. Understand also your the Master and i'm the Padawan. Maybe some time I can get ya as an instructor at one of your favorite tracks! I'm touring this year! 8 scheduled days of local michigan tracks but open to heading all over! Putnam / Mid Ohio / Where-ever else I can get time at!
