Bryan:
Do you need volunteers to help coordinate events or setup? You may want to add a volunteer section to the ZDayZ website. Break it down to volunteers by event since so you don't end up with all of your volunteers in the car show and none in the rally. (Just a suggestion)

But to answer you questions specifically. This year when I approached the sponsoring clubs, I ageve them a new option. Sponsor the staffing for an event. ZdayZ would still supply the neccesary stuff, the club would simply need to staff the event, and for that thewy would get special recognition and a plaque for the club.
This concept was very well recieved. Many clubs jumped right on it:
Carolina Z club is sponsoring the Poker run stops
ZROC is sponsoring registration
Upstate Z Club is sponsoring all of the parking activities
Middle Tennessee Z Club is sponsoring the exhaust competition
There are other clubs sponsoring, but in different more trditional fashions. But I look forward to next year, when a few of the clubs restructure and will have more folks on site and can do more.
Also we have a new record for sponsoring clubs, 12! WoOT!
The clubs that could not sponsor an event are still sending volunteers which we will use here and there as needed, and each club is sending one car show judge.
I am still looking for a lucky volunteer to lick envelopes. I have 1260 envelopes stuffed with poker run cards and I can't find anyone to lick that many envelopes
I'm terrible at beer pong. My liver actually wants the beer so it sends signals to the brain causing me to miss my shots. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.)
I just said I'd quit drinking Patron...

That's what she said?
