I've started a thread on 3ZC for colating Caravan data and plans for a caravan to ZDayZ.
Basically starting in Ontario and working our way to Detroit and down I75. As time draws nearer, I'll post estimated timings for the route in an effort to connect with others enroute.
We'll be leaving Wednesday morning and should make our first overnight stop somewhere near Miamisburg, Ohio.
We plan to arrive sometime late Thursday afternoon / early Thursday evening at FV.

Registering is fun and painless. If you are coming for sure, please do so. The best part of this gathering is participating in the group events and social gatherings.

trust me, this will be the best time you've ever had without the use of small animals. I highly recommend staying at least one night if you can.

They need to have a registration fee without dinners, we're making our own grub.

I'd like to be able to do the events and stuff, and meet some people just minus the cost of two dinners.

I hate to sound like this, but we have fought this for 5 years already. I'm not calling any names or pointing fingers, but if you are planning on coming to zdayz then be glad there is a thing called zdayz. The only way to perpetulate zdayz is to register. In the past we have had almost 20% people on site that were not registered. If that trend continues there will not be another zdayz.

Awe, I think the dinners being included is a good thing.

The set dinners brings everyone together in one place as a single group. There are times when two events are going on at the same time so that means you are interacting with only half the people at any given event.

It's a good opportunity to get to meet folks and make new friends. Besides, should there be last minute changes to the schedule for some urgent reason, then that is the place to hear the latest news.

Besides that, after the cost has been spread out over everyone, the impact directly to you is pretty small. Even though I have a kitchen, I plan to go to the dinners. I'll probably use the kitchen more as a bar!

Jeffro, we tried a per diem approach lsat year and it was too confusing and this year we settled on an inclusive registration fee this year. It makes thing so much easier, we use dinner to give away prizes, communicate with everyone, make announcements, etc...

I appologize that we cannot appease everyone, I consider it a victory when we can appease 85% with everything.

PLease add this to your feedback for next year, if enough people feel this way we can try a different model for next year.

+1, the kitchen in our cabin is for breakfast, lunch, and midnight snacks after too much Vodka. And a place to keep the Vodka Cold

BTW Bryan, I'll need to change the car show class I'm registered in. It seems I've added a few mods in the past couple weeks and I'm over the "Mild" limit of 10 visible mods. I won't be competitve in another class but it doesn't matter to me. It's all about the gathering to me. Besides, the fee is just about even with the cost of the t-shirt.

No problem, shoot me an email bryan at zdayz dot com with the details and I'll modify the database.

Yeah, speaking of tshirts the only way to get the car show tshirt is to be in the car show. we are rpinting just enough for those that preregister for it. $10 for a tshirt ain't bad.
