There are so many great roads around, I need to do a few upgrades and head back up there

Yeah, I had a moment of flustered judgement with that trio of bikes.

Side note if anyone in upstate SC or western NC is still itching for some more mountain driving - I think that a buddy and I are going to make a trip back up in 2 or 3 weekends and take 276 up and back. He's never driven the Dragon and has a turbo PT cruiser. I'm going to either let him lead or make sure that I'm way ahead of him, because I don't want him trying to keep up with me on those roads in a vehicle that is much higher than my dropped Z and has less traction than my 255/285 rubber. Anyone that wants to join us for a spirited, yet safe drive, let me know.
I might be in, hit me up when you nail a date down

Almost no guard rails, to cliff faces one up and one down on either side.

Maybe I'm just a little more laid back about it, but if someone wants to be the keep of the speed in front of me, I figure it is for good reason, almost everytime it happens, it has saved me from a ticket. I generally end up buying them a beer.
AND if all else fails, simply pull off yourself and wait a few minutes for the slower traffic to get out of the way, then go ***** to the walls. Riding someones *** gets them looking in their rear view too much and then...
Just a thought from someone who isn't ALL that fast and has made a lot of trips on the Dragon since 2005.

Fri night on the way back to the hotel in Robbinsville, I can't remember which route we took, but the road was empty and we were freaking tearing it UP! So much fun

If you did not do the Poker Run, you missed some of the best combination of roads in the entire area! Well done to Justin who laid out the route.

I had so much fun riding up to man my checkpoint on Wayah road. I was really hung over so I wasn't really driving that hard but it was sure a beautiful road.

I only wish I had pulled over to put my camera on the car sooner. I ended up stopping right at the end of the stretch with the river and all the fishermen.

Anyone else see the sign on Wayah heading towards Robbinsville that said "You are in a piece of Heaven, please don't drive like Hell? I was LMAO on that one. Great road but a bit on the narrow side and lots of residential.

Hahah I missed that sign... but I did see one that said "Pray" right before a curve without armco that led straight into a lake. That was my favorite.

Correct, as best we can tell at the moment, about 60 either didn't come by registration or didn't show, I'm still doing the data mining

Bryan got tied up with registration and other ZDayz responsibilities and had to give his spot to Russ.
