Well its UnOfficial. I am going to be there The Tuesday before, weather dependent we will be putting together a small rafting trip that wednesday possibly followed by a trip into Asheville to check out the Biltmore estate and have dinner and take some pictures.

If you are interested in pre-ZdayZ activities, contact me. I've attended the last 6 years and the events Bryan organizes are top notch, but this is always my yearly vacation so I take a couple more day off and drive more, hike, boat, and just enjoy the mountains. If anyone else is interested in joining in on some more parties let me know.

I love this video. Every person I run into who asks "What is ZdayZ?" I say "Hold on a sec, watch this video and you will know half of what ZdayZ is about!"

Every year, I see tons of video cameras everywhere but no one ever posts up there vids. GoPro vids of the Dragon are awesome but I'd like to see more vids of the events and people. It doesn't have to be a professional production, just capture your club's journey to ZdayZ, the antics, the cars and people. Videos like this help get more people to come the next year. Have fun with it and don't forget to add the lens flares!

 

I have several home made videos that folks have given me over the years, but I was timid to host them on ZdayZ.com. Well now that we are doing a server/website/bandwidth upgrade I'll have a page devoted to lens flares, I mean videos. so if you haz a good one, or even a black mail one, send me a link or a dropbox request and we'll hook ya up!

Watching that & reading this thread has me soooooooooo tempted to head down this year. Actually called Fontana last night to check availability and just as a FYI for others, they still have lodge rooms and a single bedroom cabin available.

Still debating it though....just seems a little weird - had my Z less than a year and just recently joined this site yet I'm thinking about traveling 6 hours to meet up with a bunch of interweb strangers, lol. I'll probably end up getting raped and left in the bushes (if I'm lucky ).

 

I've only had mine for 6 months and only met maybe 10 people so far and everyone i've met seems real chill don't seem like rapist at all. And I'm driving 17hrs to get there so just bite the bullet and book the room

It will be a very good time the more people the more fun we can have!!

Me and the wife already had some vacation plans this summer so we're just trying to fit this in. Plus I would of course need to buy a bunch of new goodies for the car so that will take even more cash.

 

All of mine are hosted on Vimeo. The beer pong video is the only after hours vid I have seen on here. The exhaust competition is raw footage of the whole event. Lots of nice cars and sound. Not intended to be a pretty video.

Feel free to link or download and host any of them. I try to avoid (or edit out) anything that will end up blackmail material. I do these just to document the memories for the club because we usually drink too much and can't remember **** by Sunday morning.

I'm the luckiest man alive, on top of have the greatest fiancee in the world, I personally call about 700 Z peeps, friends that I have met at ZdayZ.

We are working on it as hard and as fast as we can. it is a major over haul this year in preparation for a CMS rollover for next year.
