After watching this video (Yes, it pumped me up) it makes me think twice
though of driving my Z down that 11 mile stretch with the possibility of
a BiG RiG or two wheeled adrenaline junky sliding into me. I have waited
3 years to finally make it to this event and 2 years for my project Z to finally
arrive back in my hands from the custom body shop and Tuner. Curiosity
may just get the better of me

Simple guidelines:
1) Respect the road
2) Do not push your own limits
3) Do not push the limits of those in front of you
4) Look out for oncoming vehicles that can't maintain their lane
5) Drive during the day, drink at night - don't mix the two
6) Enjoy the most fun you can have legally with your clothes on

So Bryan, is the big announcment what Graham Hobbs posted on Facebook?
"The final result of the Nissan 'Project 370Z' will be revealed to the public for the 1st time at ZDayZ 2012."

Here are a few pics to give you an idea of what I'm
bringing down. No problem on adequate brakes and
tires LOL,..as I don't ("yet") have even 8k miles on it.
The detailed pics of the metal work to the quarters
and the rest of the body can be found in my photo
album if you look in my profile I think? Haven't been
on the forum much since I joined so I'm doing my best
to find out how everything works. I've been looking
for an event like Z-DayZ to kick off my vested involvement
in the world of the Nissan community.
Looking forward to meeting with everyone in NC as passionate
about there ride as I obviously am.

This is a video of my last time there to remind me of all the enthusiasts who make the trip. I keep watching this vid to cheer me up during the hard, winter nights in MN.

I realized the other day that I feel like I'm actually getting bored with my Z, but I also realize that it's because I haven't done anything different or drastic with my Z time. I'm hoping this year is different.

Right as you fire up the video and start to pan left, that's my silver Z roadster that comes into frame as you start to pan - fourth car from the right. I couldn't quite make myself out in the video, but I think that I'm standing behind Travis (Tipzy)'s Venom 370Z when you pan past his car.

Yeah, I see your car. IIRC, I might have even talked to you at one point.
My car is in the first ring or arc next to the white G35 or G37.

And with everyone treating each other like long lost relatives/family, it's great. I truly can't wait to get back. So many good friends... and with the things planned for this year's event, I'm sure that many more will be made this year as well. For those trying to match faces with interwebz names, I'm the short guy that's usually in cowboy boots.
Wow, I don't even have a Z right now and I'm more excited than ever about ZDayz 2012!!!

Hey SmoothZ, was that 2010? From where the camera was, I think I was standing right by it.
We need to start posting pics of ourselves in this thread so we know who everyone is.
I'm easy to spot, just look for the guy with the popeye calves!
