Isn't that how it's supposed to be?

Oh no, I scratched a spring, time for coilovers.

I feel bad for the people who do actually plan a vacation on the same weekend. From what I understand Zdayz is a very quiet event and they probably don't even know we are there

Bwahahaha, I wish. Got an alignment, my door handle broke. BG induction cleanse, plugs, air filter, and clean throttle body and I noticed my radiator is leaking.

Which is the perfect excuse to go aftermarket in my eyes

I was going to go for a early drive last year with Mike (Z1NONLY) but go too drunk. Woke up drunk after we were supposed to already meet, went back to bed instead

About that bushing I needed to look at:

SPL is freaking awesome!!!

I had a "clunk" coming from the left front of my car when I would come to a stop and when I would enter my driveway, left side first.

I did some investigating and found that I had a little play when I grabbed the A-arm and moved it front to back.

I called SPL and told them I thought I had narrowed it down to one particular inner bushing, and they recommended all 4 inner bushings be replaced and sent me a set, -even though I was almost a month past the warranty period!!!! Sure, it was a little more work replacing all 4, but I wasn't going to turn down such great customer service.

When I told them I track the car regularly and probably put more stress on the A-arms than the average Z owner, the guy on the phone said something to the effect of "That's the kind of stress we engineer our stuff to handle. We'll get your replacement bushings in the mail today"

I'm so glad I went with SPL!

That's fantastic! So often, we only hear negative reports about aftermarket companies so it's awesome to hear customer service & products matter to some companies. After reading that, if I ever need to replace/ upgrade my bushings, I'll be looking at SPL!

Thanks for sharing your experience.

:::edit:::
SPL dont make parts for my car. Whoa is me.
