Car is all taped up and ready to go. Hopefully I'll be in Fontana Village by lunchtime tomorrow.

 

Everyone's all fancy with their painters' tape. Does it make me a car guy that I didn't even think to do mine?

 

^I have week and a half old paint on the front bumper and I can't be bothered to tape

 

Justin @ Redline is going to be wrapping my car when I get there, so I just didn't want to have fresh bugs and rock chips to worry about. I should be able to strip off the tape, and then do a quick clay bar and wash - then hand it off to him for the new vinyl.

Since I only have a 2.5 hour drive in the morning (scenic route over Caesars Head), I normally wouldn't fool with it. But folks coming from far away would have a ton of bugs by the time they arrived since the bugs are out in full force this time of year.

 

I'm freakin giddy. Last night, my wife kept fussing at me to settle down and go to sleep. I feel like I'm a kid and it's Christmas night - I might not be able to get to sleep tonight.

 

In our caravan, I brought up the rear, so I avoided most of the bugs.

HELP!!

We just got to Fontana & a guy in our cabin was complaining of hearing a clunking type noise. Apparently he accidentally didn't fully torque his brake bolts & they backed out.

Would someone be able to buy from either Nissan or a parts store the two bolts holding a front right caliper on a non-Brembo 2007 350Z & bring them to FVR? He'll obviously pay you back & you'd save us a trip into Knoxville.
