Default Ultimate Cats are available again!

Just a quick FYI that there was a slight delay in getting the cats, but they are now ready to go!

We are putting an ad in the vendor classifieds right now, with a link where you can order right off our site

Default Question

Have you seen these cats in combination with the Nismo exhaust? How is the fitament? I heard that the Ultimate cats have some of the same material as the crawfords.. could you explain? Also, how is the rasp if any. I am interested, because I heard that these are quieter and deeper than my RT cats. Thanks.

we havea couple customers with them with the NISMO exhaust -they work well as a team. I have them in my car with the Ultimate Y pipe and Fujitsubo exhaust and it works really well together

the pipes are all stainless steel and use a Magnaflow/Carsound cats, which have a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty.

Absolutely no rasp whatsoever.

Default Ultimate Cats from Z-1

I bought a set from Adam. They're nice. Z1 service was great.

Lots more flow - bit louder than stock - touch of rasp at 2500.

Just hope they get me through emissions testing next year...

I got rid of the rasp sound for good with Ultimates! Much better sounding all the way through the rpm range. A little more restrictive so I may of lost high rpm hp but I can still chirp in 3rd gear. It's worth the very, very slight hp loss (if any) from the RTs for the much improved sound. If you're sick of the crappy sound you might be getting from the RTs then consider switching. Thanks Adam at Z1 Perfomance!
