the e55 is a beast it was definately that gay driver that made the e55 lose to that sti. i've seen a vid of bone stock e55 walk a moded 03 cobra with no problem.

 

Sti wasnt stock it had more boost and aftermarket clutch, Sti is much easier to launch. From a roll STI had no chance, there's another video where this sti is racing G35 and i passed them by like they were standing at 240 km/h, Yes that was me driving, and yes i had Traction on, and I didnt try that hard to launch the car, sti pulled on me only half a car then when i shift i pass him by easy! Still It is much easyer to launch AWD car then the RWD car with 516 pounds of trq and half bold 265s at the back!!

I read the orginal thread where the owner of the STi posted those videos. Yes the STi did beat the E55 off the line, like it can do to most non-AWD cars. The STi driver said he shut down right when the E55 was catching up cuz he wanted to call it a victory. I've driven my uncle's before and you can imagine its pretty hard to get those things to hook from a stop. Their top end is incredible. It went from 60 to 120 in a matter of seconds.
