Correct me I am wrong...but I think that Z is rebuilt and is one of the fastest ones out there. I can't remember the URL bit I saw a whold buch of video's of that car. I think they went with a 100%+ rebuilt block...etc and put out some serious #'s on the track.

theres another vid ive seen after the rebuild i just dont have the file. if i remember correcty the car is currently running high 8s?? or low 9s

 

That is one of the fastest ones, its built by performance motorsports in LI. The kid holding the snapped piston is the driver of all the cars. That one runs 9.9 or something in that area, and they have another that runs 6s, i'm not sure exactly what time.

 

Actually that car now runs 8's,but has not run all year for some reason.That is Performance Motorsports in LI. The driver of that car is Andrew Rubio, his father Gary owns the race team and 2 nissan dealerships,so I would call them smart guys, since they were the first ones to put the 350Z in the 12's,11's,10's,9's,8,s....So maybe you should use a SEARCH button first before you post..

 

8s really? Impressive, when did they do that, I thought I remembered Andrew telling me 9s at the Middlebury meet, guess I was mistaken. Not only do those people know thier stuff but they're some of the nicest guys around.

 

They have been running in the 8' for a while now, on BFG drag radials no less..They were stuck in the 10's but then they upgraded the turbos and put in an automatic tranny..brought them into the 8's last time I spoke with him,SEMA IAS AC JN
