Awesome vid! Seen a couple of those races already, but dont mind seeing again! I cant wait for the F/I Z's making that much HP start racing people, those are going to be sweet vids..



I actually just got back from Test Driving an 06 Evo IX......damn. They upped the power 10hp and it now has 286hp and 289tq, this thing moves pretty damn good. It was a white one, with only 45 miles on the ODO, the clutch is tougher then the Z, but definitely is much easier to use, it engages low and isn't as springy. The trans is very tough, I dont like how tight feeling it is, its hard to go into the next gear and even move the shifter, I asked the dealer if it would loosen up, but they didnt know.

Steering is very tight, and I didnt hit redline or anything, but I got on it in first, and 2nd a couple of times, there is a SLIGHT lag, but as soon as full boost hits, BOOM you are sucked into the seat and the front end lifts up and all you hear is beautiful turbo spool...I REALLY like the car, it had the new Recaro's in it, a carbon fiber dash, and the new redisgned front end. The car is awesome....They were almost giving me enough for my trade to pay my car off completley, but I know I can sell it myself and make a profit. They wanted it for 40,059 out the door, but I said thats too high, and the best they would give me was 38K out the door, I dont know, I like the car, I love my Z, but back when I had my VR4 I wanted to upgrade to an EVO, but it was when they first came out, so they werent letting anyone drive them, sit in them, anything, especially an 18 year old......I need some advice, I love my Z, but this new EVO is a pretty awesome car, the brembos feel great and it turns awesome. I hate the new car bug....HELP!

My original plan was to pay the Z off by the end of this year and go F/I....I dont know, need constructive criticism.

 

I saw this Evo racing a s/c'd viper and I was already impressed.
Now after I saw this video, i was like

Jezuz.....that EVO is freakin' sweet. That car can really embarrass a lot of other cars out there.
