I'm positive about 300ZX...

 

the 300ZX is slightly faster due to its turbos.. but the others don't come close.. thas bs.. plus look who's driving the 350Z.. he hates it.. that bastard did that **** on purpose

 

nope this isnt a bunch of ****.... The 300zx must of been a TT that's why it spanked the 350. I find it hard that this is a suprise for you

according to this, the 350 should blow the doors off all of the earlier years...and besides why would nissan put out a faster car in the 80's when the market for sports cars was crap? it just doesnt make any sense that if the 350 is supposed to be an amalgamation of all the zees of the past, that it would be made slower...here's the link...

well stock 300zx-tt, definitly would take a 350Z. But the older 80's Z's im just not sure about.

Anyone have any additional info. on that older RED Z that was a click slower then the 350?

some of those TT and T ZX times are pretty damn close to the 350Z.. which means it's a driver's race.. and when the turbo kicks in, they're pretty damn fast

see, i really like watching top gear episodes, but that guy is really dumb sometimes. If anyone has ever watched the EVO vs Murciealargo episode, you'll know what im talking about. He's was complaining about being in 6th gear going 30mph and there was so much lag..blah blah blah. "hey idiot just down shift you fool." i wish i could talk to people on tv sometimes.

 

How the fawk can they compare mod'd 260's(as you can hear from the exhausts) to a stock Z. No way in hell a stock 260 would come within 1 cars length of a 350Z even if the 350 driver had pasly, no right arm and 1 leg to floor it and shift with. That was a horrible copmparison. Im not denying the 300ZX being a tad faster either, but not 2 buslengths like the video shows....

 

well, just watch them take off. Its clear that not all of the drivers are equal right from the start. Not truly a good comparo of all these cars. Kinda looked cool, that would actually be a cool way to drag if everyone had a starting tree to go from.

 

i love that show haha...i own a 78 280z completly stock and there is no way it would EVER beat a stock 350z...and yea i still love my old one

 

Some of those cars are modded as the 260Z should not have been that close to the 350Z. Assuming all cars are stock and in proper running order it should be like this:
