My stock 06 base Z VS. Subaru WRX STi!!!! Video EDIT!!!!
See does runs and let me know what you think. My Z is completely stock except of a drop in K&N Filter and for for that night...5 gal. of Racing fuel C-16 (about 112 octane) aprox. What do you think? Racing in the streets of Ponce P.R.

My car is complety stock and the O2 sensors are ok at this moment!
I upload the video and we have to wait 30 min. at least to be optimized!
but check it again asap. That Video was great!

dude use youtube.com, streetfire has a bunch of swedish and german kids posting their 3 cylinder fiats that have no LSD and do one wheel burn outs in the parking lots of grocery stores while throwing up peace signs and wearing nike hats side ways!

Check the video NOW!!!

STI age?
what year STi was that? the 04 STi's lost a TON of power through the drivetrain. The 06's are much more efficient- meaning an 06 would probably rape you so bad on the launch that you'd never catch up, tho that 112 octane stuff probably does help (at the expensive of ur engine life)

why would a higher octane be a bad thing for a motor? It helps with detonation, and if the ecu was smart enough, perhaps it was able to advance timing a bit and create horsepower. This would be the whole reason for a higher octane in the first place. Now his cats and o2 sensors probably will get a little pissed off after a while, but hey, anything for a little hp.
Good runs, very interesting. The STI definitly wasnt a pro at launching, but his power should be able to creep on you in the least, Id think. Never thought racing a STI would look that easy.

How many people were in the STI? I would have expected it to pull harder then that, sounded like it had an exhaust and BOV? Anyways, nice race! Please be safe out there on the streets!

If he had a built motor with very high compression and no emission system then it might make sense to run that fuel, but in his case its like pissing into the wind(except worse).
