Like those vids Alberto. Question, when you are shifting are you letting off the gas at all or just powershifting all the way through? I've only tracked my car once on bad rear tires, just got some new ones and I am headed to track tonight. I only ran a 14.3 due to traction issues. Just looking for some pointers.

Thanks...I do not let off the gas at all, I know in some shifts it looks like I do because my knee lifts but my foot is down. I wouldnt recommend you trying to powershift if your not experienced, a good lift throttle shift will do just as well, its just a matter of personal preference.

Try running 27-30psi in the rear tires, take the spare/tool/extra crap out and run with 1/8 tank of gas. For launching ry doing a quick slip of the clutch starting at around 2500rpm's. If your catching traction move up 500rpm's until you find the right balance of wheel spin/traction off the line. Always shift at redline. Good luck, and post results

from last night. 7-20-2006 I actually win. beat my buddies 470 whp apstt. In order for me to do that I need to do a perfect light and he had to react slower and he had to have street tires. I had my drag radials. he runs faster time but I get to the end first.

i guess my new name for my car is godzilla. listen to the comments from the crowd. LOL.

disclaimer. the Z I raced is really fast. he runs 7.7 on et streets. I need to post this because I know he will want to defend himself. yes this is a 1/8th mile track

Thanks, stay with the N20 if you already have it, properly setup can be just as fast as most FI set-ups. We have a member on here who ran 11.8 on 125-150 shot

I think ive had it for about a year im currently running 100shot and really want to up the jets. However, I believe i need some form of engine management in order to do so, which i dont have the money for right now. Do you know what kind of setup that member had??

Yeah, he had an NX kit I believe, bolt-ons and a self tuned UTEC retarding timing. Also had slicks which is def needed to run times like that. Off slicks though thats still a mid 12 sec set-up easy.
