yeah but they are much cheaper to fix than the VQ. my neighbor has a FD running a GT42R making around 600 to the wheels, whats cool is he just bought a 70 model rx3, with a 13b in it, but with the deal he got 3 spare motors and a truck load of parts. i wish i could be so lucky with my car. he can do a motor swap in less than an hour. those things are great to work on.

its not the cost of the rotor motor that breaks you mentally.. its the downtime and the time wasted fixing it...

they always say when you get an FD and mod it.. you better have another car

doesnt take long to change the apex seals, thats what usually goes bad in those motors. doesnt matter what car it is if you drag your butt fixing it.

Damn that is sick. Somebody give me some backround/info Im not big into rotary's. 20b is a 2 rotor FD motor? If not what is the FD motor? What are the different rotory Mazda motors out? 13b, 20b? What else? Any insight would be appreciated.

20b is a three rotor which displaces 2 liters which is equal to a 4.0 liter motor by comparison. The 13b displaces 1.3 liters and is equal to 2.6 liters to a reciprocating motor...hope that helps....the 20b used to be my dream motor for my 1st gen Rx-7

the 20b is a rare motor, usually only in race cars and such, they are pretty expensive as well.
