Just wanted to share a video from my autocross club's "fun day" last weekend. I'm driving the Z and my Fiance' is in the pasenger seat. We both had a blast!

Thanks, but we don't do the chase car video often. We hosted an Evolution driving school fri and sat and used sunday as a "fun" day for members and school attendees. I think the low number of drivers freed up time for Becky to do a few vids. (She is usually busy in the timing trailer) There was only about 30 cars there and no course workers. (We normaly have 100+ drivers at our events) Every so often, we would hold up the course and put it back together.

I am a new member so I can't take too much credit for how well organized we are, but we all work hard to make the events run safely and smoothly.

I have never seen an autocross video produced this way but I am glad they put it together, and very glad to be the subject of one of the vids.

 

Cool vid..Thats Buckingham Air Field..I live in Ft.Myers...How often do you guys go out there?

First weekend of every month. We will be out this weekend!(03/31 and 04/01) Come check it out. I will be in car 172 SM2.

Saturday has two tracks; test-and-tune, and a learner course complete with instructors. Sunday is the mile-long course.

 

Is it to late to make it down there and run tomorrow? I live in Sarasota.

 

No it's not too late! Registration is from 8am-9:30am. Course closes for walking at 9:30am. Driver's meeting is at 10am. $30 etnry fee. Don't forget your driver's license and helmet. We do have loaner hemets if you need one.

I have a helmet, Is there a gas station near by? Any with 100 octane by chance? Also, does anyone caravan down there in a group or just show up?

 

No 100 octane that I know of. There is a shell station at the colonial exit, (that's one exit past the one on the map) and, I think a chevron at the palm beach blvd exit 2 exits before the one on the map. (sorry I don't know the number)
