Default How To- Embed Video In Your Thread

Here is a quick tutorial on how to embed a video in your post.

Many websites have videos that you can share with other people without having to download them to your local computer. Just in case you don't know how to put that video you want to share so much into a thread, here is how to do it.

Step 1: Find a video you like on a website. I found this video on BuzzHumor by performing a search for 350z.

Step 2: Look for where it says “embed” with some code beside (or below) it, in this case it can be found below the video. Copy that whole string of code.

Step 3: Create a New Thread, and simply copy and paste the embed code that you copied in Step 2 into the message. The same procedure is done for creating a reply to a post.

Step 4: Preview your post, and you should see the embedded video displayed. If it worked, submit your new thread, or your reply.

Here is a result of the example above:

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="400" src="http://www.buzzhumor.com/player/embedflvplayer.swf" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" flashvars="autostart=false&file=http://media.buzzhumor.com/28/nismo_350z_and_rs6_spy_shots47DYw.flv&bufferlength=3" scale="showall" name="index"></embed>

If anyone needs any extra help, let me know!

Ken

Thanks Cryptin for the help..
