Took the Spec V out to the track the other night..

It has a FWD DE motor..
modified HR pistons
H-beams
JWT C8 cams
Ported heads
intake, headers, exhaust
Clutch/flywheel
8K rpm rev limit with pretty much stock Altima tune

On a 24.5 x 8 MT ET Drag, I ran 12.40's consistently.. and with a few tweaks to the suspension/tire pressure... combined with a long cool down.. I managed to click off a 12.29 pass at nearly 111mph..

goes to show how much weight plays a factor

 

The car weighs about 2950lbs with me in it, along with the VQ swap.. @ 110mph, average trap speed.. and 12%-13% driveline loss (FWD), I'd say we're right at, or just beyond 300whp. Amazing.. since we're still on the stock FWD manifold..
