If this is considered street racing then you can give me a warning or infraction I just felt like posting this up. I've seen people post videos like these on here so I didn't think it'd be a problem.

Title basically says it all, my cousin just taped the digital speedometer with my iPhone, I wasn't racing anyone, there weren't even any cars around. I made a right hand turn when I started and the roads were a little slick so I didn't get to WOT until about 25MPH.

Well I don't have a tripod stand for a camera or whatever to mount on my steering wheel and it would't have been very safe for him to have his hand in front of my chest so you could see the dashboard.

If you mean I was shifting before I hit redline, then yes I guess I was, I'm not going to bounce my car off redline then shift, I just try and get as close as possible before I shift.

 

It may not have been the best idea, but I felt comfortable enough to be able to control my car even though the roads were a little slick from rain earlier.

I wanted to go from a dead stop but I didn't want anyone flying up behind me as I'm launching in the middle of the road.

I assume you're not impressed considering your car can probably go 0-100 faster than mine can go 0-60 lol.

 

Maybe i've been in slow 4x4's for too long, but that seemed pretty quick...haha, what mods do you have?

 

Just a few bolt-ons. TurboXS Exhaust, AEM short ram, and a 5/8 plenum.

 

Yep, trucks have skewed my sense of speed haha, even my friends stock 04 touring with like 130k+ feels quick from the passenger seat.

 

That means when you buy another Z it'll feel like you're on another planet driving home from the dealership

 

Vids can be impressive depending on how they are filmed, I understand this is a quick clip, nothing crazy.

My car ran like a beast NA so I know what its like to have that.
