All it looks like to me is the neon gets the jump, the Z reels him in, gets along side and lets off. Seems to me that once the guy in the Z knew it was on he let the beast go and look what happened.

I'm in the process of being a supporting vendor (hopefully) and i happen to surf the SRTforums board quite a bit. The site that makes these vids is NOT a SRT site (even if the name on the vid looks like it). Here is the link to the video site:

I've spoken with one of the guys that runs the site. He said that they both hit the gas at the same time, but didn't keep recording since it was obvious the 350TT was about to rape the SRT (they stopped at about 105mph) and it was during the day and on a public road.

Don't discredit the SRT though. There are a few in the 12's with less than $1000 in mods including a girl that has hit 12.4 with less $$$.

They are both great cars with each having thier own place in everyones garage.

That video was filmed local to me. They were racing and the 350z pulled up top and passed the SRT4 around 100 or so.

Exactly. Time to raise the BS flag on this one. Anyone remember the TT Z that races the white M3?? He destroys the M. Im not even gonna begin to listen to anyone who thinks that a POS Neon will ever come close to a new M3, let alone beat the turbo'd Z that BEAT the M3. No F'in way.

How much boost was the other running when it raced the M3? This one is only around 6.5 currently. It was a real race, it was setup, they were both trying, its not BS. Did I cover it all?

I just had my Greedy TT kit installed and dynoed at 6.5 psi. Boost was increased via the e-01 boost controller but it was not tuned yet. It pulled 369 rwhp WITHOUT even being tuned! adame780 seems to imply that the Greddy TTZ doesn't produce a lot of power with ONLY 6.5 psi -- that is just ridiculous.

All I can say is that I know both people, I know the person who fillmed, and it was done here in town. Why people do not go find out for themselves or they can not accept what is presented I do not know.

Except that it's safe to say no one doesn't give it their all when the race is that tight.

That said, I don't even think those cars were racing. I didn't hear much engine or exhaust noise at all. I also think the TT Z would rape the Stage1 SRT-4.
