or get some CF air ducts on both sides.

Question?

Stillen only got 6 hp at best. Fujita is saying 10hp? Open filtered cars will generally dyno higher than closed units or cold air. These aftermarket parts for Z's are way over priced. Why spend $300 - 500 bucks when you can modify the oem one to make more power????

Just remove the air tubes/horns/silencers and drill some holes in front of box. Done!

Heat soak? Youve got to be kidding. I ran the same time at the track on 3 back to back runs with not even a 1 minute break in between. Heat soak is a problem only if you're sitting parked with the hood closed... which is a problem on the stock intake as well.

Look at the intake filters...right in the engine bay, VQ's get hot fast.

Stock intake at least sucks in the cooler air from inside the front bumper.

No different than what I had in my Ford. I spent time datalogging IAT temps, and heat soak was a non issue as long as the car kept moving. There is a ton of airflow in the engine when the car is moving.

edit: just to clarify, I removed the plastic guides that lead from the bumper to the filter housings in my 350. Didn't hurt my car's performance at all. Trap is actually about 1mph better now in HOTTER weather than when I first ran my car.

I would like to know where that dealer is getting it? I also work in a Nissan parts department and check with Nissan everyday. Nissan doesnt even list it at any parts distribution center or any dealer in the country. Heck, its not even on our price disk. So you might want to go back there and ask them from under what rock are they going to get the intake. I am also trying to get the Nismo emblem from off of the new Nismo model. It is also not available and in the system yet.

Hmmm... Good question there. I stopped in there, asked if he knew anything on a release date for the parts, and he said they were available. Even called it a "dual intake" and had all of the jargon right from the '03 all the way to '07. Said he can get it in a week. The only thing that he touched was the computer in the shop. I'll have to stop by there again and get more info or actually order it to see if he's yanking my chain.

Oh, and sorry that was my first post. Hi all.

I'm in Arizona, got an '07 Touring, Solar Orange, w/the Nismo CB installed and the Nismo springs and shocks in the garage <== .

I just called up nissan. They have part #'s up already for the nismo dual intakes but said the intake is not released yet. Did not tell me the projected release date but its coming soon. I guess they just need to make a few more batches and test it before releasing it

Default Nismo dual intake for the 07 guys..

Just recently went by the Valencia Nissan dealership where i live and according to nismos inventory the intake system is ready and priced just not available on the market yet. All i know is that it is supposed to be $520 for the complete dual system.
Does anyone have any other information as to when it is going to be released?

No but that is a little expensive. AEM, Fujita, and Stillen all make an intake for the 07 now and they are all around 400 or less.
