Installed mine last night. Install wasnt to hard. Had to cut yhe small rubber hoses to make them fit right. Putting the Strut bar on was a ***** on the drivers side after the intake goes in. All in all a very simple install. Dont drop anything in the engine compartment!!! Its a ***** to get it off the bottom splash guard.
I noticed immediatly that the car did not sound any different then stock at normal RPMs (huge plus) but once past 5k and at WOT it roared like a beast. Butt Dyno says it has some extra torque and Hp on the high end but who knows. Looks awesome, sounds sick and might add some usable power (<--unproven to this point). Got it for 375 from Gruppe. Very happy!

theres a rubber seal, but just like the popcharger, it doesnt do much. i dont think you should worry too much about heatshields. theyre all equally for show unless the intake is sealed in a plastic box imo.
