Just a quick update. I talked to technosquare today and they have a program they're ready to test, but need me to bring the car in for a few days. I'm trying to work out that schedule now, but it might not be until the end of the month.

The car should be going to Technosquare Tuesday morning and by Saturday we should know what additional power is waiting to be unleashed.

Thanks. Luckily I've been in a position where I could donate my car. I'll get as much info from Technosquare as possible and post it all as soon as I can.

Gains from reflashes on normally aspirated cars normally are NOT huge!

I bet the gains will come on the top end where the factory tune pre-maturely closes the throttle bodies before redline. Don't expect more than 5 to 12 hp - is my guess.

the gains from the reflash will be better with mods to the car done than without

If you find the gains not "huge" why give them your car?

You're absolutely right. This goes along the same path as Mine's ECU upgrades. One of the biggest reasons why a JDM reflash wouldn't work with a USDM engine is they run off of different tuning scenarios [different/much higher fuel octane ratings, etc].

The current setup I'm running is Fujuta intakes and Nismo exhaust. I get a second free tune after this one so when I get HFCs installed I'll get it flashed again.

the Mine's, Amuse, and every other tuning software out there uses the EXACT same software Technosquare does. Technosquare is the US distributor for that software

Does that include UpRev? Is that why they are taking so long to bring a product to the HR owners, they are waiting for Technosquare to sell them the licenses?

I have no idea about Uprev, I am talking about all the Japanese programs and their relationship to Technosquare.
