Perhaps there will be additional gains from having HFCs or TPs.

January seems so far away!!!!

Oh and BTW....
I'm glad I'm able to help out. I'm sure technosquare is happy to have a few of us willing to donate our cars for as long as we do, but I gotta give the thanks to them for taking care of us and working around our schedules as much as theirs.

I'm pretty sure we'll see some more gains with HFCs and TPs. January does seem far away, but December is probably the hardest time of the year to have work done. To many things going on, you know?

Pics should be available tonight. Scanner wasn't working last night.

lol, nothing like letting someone else drive your car and to find they can shift faster and corner better then you can.

Yeah, I'm curious too. Tadashi wasn't impresses with the design of the Fujitas; with the diamiter of the intake pipe getting smaller to meet the requirements of the O2 sensor. I didn't ask him much about it, but perhaps the Nismo intakes have the proper design because they stay at a constant size. I guess we'll at least see what the Fujitas do... unless someone wants to donate a Nismo intake to the effort. I'm sure I can get more testing done.

I'm gonna go try to work the scanner now so maybe I can post the dynos a little later.

I get CELs on occasion with the HFC so... I hope they are smart enough to flash out the CEL light.

Funny how these HR motors have a sudden dip after peak torque at 2200.. any reasoning behind why that is?

Man you have a nice flat A/F curve!!! I wish I could say the same. You were running rather rich. Which is odd, because mine doesn't run rich until after 6,500 RPM, and then it matches your 11.3.

And what's with that torque curve? It maxes out at 217 ft/lb at 1,950 RPM and drops to 175 ft/lbs at 2,550 RPM... Is that normal for the Hr motor (my dyno didn't have a TQ graph to compare this to).

That's a good question the only other dyno chart for the HR I've seen is right here: https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...29&postcount=1

There's a slight dip if you look closely, but nothing like mine. Its also a different dyno, so the readings could be different. When I have a chance I'll see if I can find any more graphs.

Hopefully its just the dyno.. but every other dyno chart i've seen from a HR does not do what your car does..If there was a problem i'm sure you would've felt that when you drive? 217lbs at 2000 and then 175 at 2500 must not feel right.

In for updates...

Even if it doesn't make a lot of power, I'm definitely interested in better throttle response.
