I'm looking for a set of used 07 cats?I'm thinking of going with a set of HF cats and would like to put the factory heat shields on to pass a visual inspection.If you've taken off a set of cats,I'd like to see if I can remove the shields.

 

You don't have to have heat shields on the cats to pass a visual inspection. Many cars come factory without heat shields on the cats.

 

i think he jus wants to make them look more stockish
