What is it with greddy and removing **** on your car. First the bumper brace, now the strut brace, what's next, removing the radiator to fit an intercooler?

Intercooler won't fit otherwise and the stock strut bar prolly won't fit over their CF plenum. All in the pursuit of power.

Yeah fair enough, but nobody else seems to have these "fitting issues". So i'm guessing now that the front bumper brace has to be removed, and the strut bar, correct me if i'm wrong, but that is a lot of bracing getting removed from the front of the car. Definitely wouldn't want a crash in it.

Bumper beam doesn't do **** above a certain low speed anyways. Well, I know for Evo's it doesn't. I forgot where I read it, but above like 5 or 15mph, it's worthless.

Worthless until you get a collision straight in the middle of the front of the car. Then all the force of the collision goes straight to the engine, and you end up with your block on your lap. That bar re-distributes the force of a frontal impact down the side of the car. It was designed by nissan engineers to be their, so i think it's meant to stay.

We just need a plenum with an integrated water//air aftercooler. Less piping and no need to cut into everything... I realize the heat exchanger will still mount in the front but there's plent of room for it, and easy to run the hoses.

Greddy just need to think a bit before they start hacking away at things trying to be the first to produce a kit. There's plenty of room there for them to run the pipes a bit tighter and keep the strut brace.

I'm sorry. Did you just have to ask your parents for a TT?

Nope. The guys I spoke to at the booth pretty much just blew me off too.
One of the responses was something like this... "We opened the hood, saw the two throttle bodies and immediately closed the hood and gave the car back. We won't be doing a kit for those cars, you just can't do it."

He was a moron.
