if intake is a waste of money and you loose horse power putting intake on your Z why 70% of z owners have them?

^^ its not all intakes...Just Fujita really and CAI's. Stillen, JWT, etc. have been proven to add a couple hp not much, mainly sound mod... Stock design is superb.

Im the other 350z owner that went to the dyno.Ill post graph soon but my results a few minutes after his run resulted in my car getting ------269.46 hp and 236.66 trq. 4th gear pull. My run was about 4 degrees hotter then his-- so not much effect there. My car has X02 catback and Stillen intakes.

I must mention though I ran with my 20s that weigh 14 lbs more each then stock wheels. So im sure I lost a bit of power there.

He is right about Fuj intakes being really hot! They did not cool down after runs as many think they would.

I also must mention that the dyno we went to is known to be conservative by about 5% by the bmw club Im in. So take that with a grain of salt.

I think we should have a dyno day soon to make better comparisons.

Corey from Henderson performance is an awesome tuner. He had 2 awesome vettes sitting in the lot a 700whp ls6 and a TWIN turbo 427 ls7 with 900 whp. He built both recently.

That would put you at about 282 WHP, and Joselito at 269 WHP... Which is definitely within the other forum member's results for the HR (I got 285 w/ HFC).
