bastard! lol j/k I'd love to have no limiter but when I am realistic about it. There aren't alot of places that you can do it either because of traffic, the road or cops. Around my area there are alot of unmarked cars like mustangs and chargers. It would suck to get clocked that fast and get caught. bye-bye license.

The guys at the shop told me that the older models had trouble breaking 270 with bolt ons.

Nice numbers.

I'm sure the HR can break 300whp.

Real nice #'s...I'm positive you'll reach 300+whp with a tune or reflash

I think after the reflash the aftermarket intakes will be fine. Its just that right now the intakes have the car running very lean. On the dyno the A/f ratio was off all the way to about 4.5k if I remember correctly. Hopefully ill get the charts today.

before the exhaust and test pipes I was running 13.7 at 105 but thats with a bad 60'. A better driver can definitely do 12s with DRs. Gooey has done it but he also has 4.083 gears.

very nice numbers. Not sure on why u think richening up the mixture will help with power? Leaner is meaner. Makes more power.
How lean are you talking?

Tweaking AFR's is a matter of 1 whp here or there, does not make more power. AFR is a reliability tune, so your engine gets the amount of fuel it needs to burn + the right amount to cool the chambers.

Timing makes power. Earlier you have combustion, more power. Of course you have to take into the account the type of fuel you use.

These numbers look very nice, I cannot wait to see what numbers I/H/E + Reflash the HR will provide us on 93. I bet on race gas the the ops car can make 300whp.

I dont remember the numbers honestly and Im still waiting on the dyno shop to send me the sheets. The reason I mention it is because of one of the guys there said it was "abnormally lean". When I get the charts I will post them up and let you guys pick it apart. I dont know alot about tuning so I dont know what numbers would be considered "abnormal". I know there were some abnormal dips in the graph and I even can feel it when Im driving.

Acree does a mod to integrate the Valentine 1 radar detector interface into
your rear view mirror. It looks SO clean.

Its good. Guy who runs that company quit Escort and I doubt anyone could accurately test the difference in the performance between Escort/V1. The V1just looks alot prettier with Acree's mod =p. Also the V1 has the arrows that point to the signal.

Does he make a mod like that for the escort or just the V1?

I only know of the V1. There is this mod for the corvette that also works on the Z mirror. You can hang the escort down and run the power up into where the dome lights are. I think that is about as good as it gets for us. The Valentine is a 2 piece set and the interface is much smaller hence being much easier to do something like this.

Sorry Im so late with the charts but I just got them yesterday. And they sent me the graphs in raw format so Im not really sure how to extract the A/F ratio from each run. If anybody does know, feel free to chime in and tell me how I will add those numbers as well.

Overlay

Run 1

Run 2

Run 3

SRT's dyno read's high.. they always had issues in the IS community when their Turbo IS300 put out way more power than everybody elses.. they narrowed it down to their happy dyno... still very impressive numbers.. but what is important is your baseline and pull after mods
