Default Frustration...

I know this topic has been beat to death, but I am so frustrated that the HR's still do not have anything that is compatible with the engine other than a few bolt on applications..When are the F/I companies and the engine companies going to come out with compatible equipment and internals for the HR?

Am i missing something?

I think GReddy is releasing there turbo kit sometime in the next couple of months.

As for bolt-ons, I don't bother even looking at those worthless mods.

Call up GTM or Forged. All you need it some $$$ and anything can be made. You needs mass produced items when you get everything built custom to your needs.

Didn't I read somewhere on the forums that HKS got a car and once they opened the hood and saw two throttle bodies that they just closed the hood and shipped the car back?

Now tell me if I'm wrong but isn't the New GTR dual throttle bodied and they seem to have alot of parts out for the new car.

So why can't they do anything with our car?

I coulda sworn with any new car there is really no aftermarket support for the first year or so.
I think we have a decent set of options so far. Its a new motor. Give it time

The lack of kits for the HR I don't think is due to the inability to design around the new motor, I am sure it's the problem with engine management. I talked to GTM as well. They can do the FCON but they have to hardwire it into the car.

Maybe you should be happy that in stock form, the HR is much faster than a non-revup z with $5k worth of N/A add-ons + tuning

what do you mean hardwire it into the car? that means that they would have to splice into the wires correct (there are no connectors)?

Yea that is what he told me..he said that they have had some success with both the F-con and MoTec hardwiring..

Robert meaning they are not able to use the "plug and play" option.

As inpatient as i am i will wait to see. I will probably end up with the Haltech eventually.

Edited: Quoted wrong on original reply. Fixed..
