Slave Cyl recall
So i got the recall done about 2 weeks ago, and the car was great. All but some sound that only happens when the car was cold. Its been getting a tad louder now and starting to bother me in conjunction with the fact that its harder for me to get 2nd gear in while taking or going into a turn (slow turns). The sound sounds like wind coming into the car from the middle of the dash, lower middle. And its not constant. ANyone else having this/these issues???

If your having a problem getting into second gear, that is not normal and should be checked. Take it back to the dealer and have them double check that they put everything back together correctly. Good luck.
My first to second gear shift, at first, felt a little knotchy when I received mine back. But that was 450 miles ago. Now it feels just like normal. I guess I was just imagining things.
On a side note, if it is severely knotchy, then I would get it checked out. And I have no idea about the noise. I would take it back just to be safe.

It was stickied a couple weeks ago, look at the top of this section of the forum and you'll see like a 20 page thread on it lol...
Every once and a while my 1-2 shift feels a bit notchy, but it's not too bad, i just figured that was how the trans was and never really gave it a second thought. This is my first manual though so i don't have anything to compare to.
