Default fix fixed slave cylinder?

I was one of the first people to have the slave cylinder problem and had it fixed long before the recall. From what Ive read, the recall part is different/better than the one I was given.

Do you guys think I should go to another dealer to have the warentee work done? Or will my dealer not trouble me for doing it again?

I hear you.. I was right there with you. I don't think they had the updated part when we had the issue...they hadn't even figured out what the problem was at that time (hence why they replaced everything). I don't think it would make a difference what dealer you went to.

Dealers can pull up your information and see any previous warranty work that you had done so it won't matter where you go. I do think they will do the recall anyway, so give it a try.
