Dyno: Stock then with Greddy EvoTT
Just did some research, I think the LS1 that dyno'd after you read about 15-20whp low too. From looking at some boards the LS1 used in the 99 Camaros are claimed to dyno around 290-300 for an auto and 300-320 for a manual. I don't know how much merit the claims have, but could be that the dynos just read low, but then again you did say you had it dyno'd at 2 separate places.

It's not quite 3". Plus, there have been others with good gains on the HR from the EvoTT. Velocity out of the combustion chamber is not as effected as much by the catback when the stock headers and cats are on there. Velocity is what makes torque. A slightly wider exhaust should actually broaden the torque curve. Its the same principle behind stepped headers.
