Just did some research, I think the LS1 that dyno'd after you read about 15-20whp low too. From looking at some boards the LS1 used in the 99 Camaros are claimed to dyno around 290-300 for an auto and 300-320 for a manual. I don't know how much merit the claims have, but could be that the dynos just read low, but then again you did say you had it dyno'd at 2 separate places.

Im suprised you didn't loose torque, 3inch aint the best for NA

It's not quite 3". Plus, there have been others with good gains on the HR from the EvoTT. Velocity out of the combustion chamber is not as effected as much by the catback when the stock headers and cats are on there. Velocity is what makes torque. A slightly wider exhaust should actually broaden the torque curve. Its the same principle behind stepped headers.

well, my buddy just got one, his third exhaust on his Z(HKS, evo2, TT) and he claimed he got the worst gains out of all of them and lost some torque going from the Evo2 to TT,dyno tested.

1/4 mile times arent always true though, thats mostly the driver... my 1/4 time sucked ***!!! (f*ckin 60 ft. KILLED me) 14.2 was my fastest (but first time on the strip) on opening day of texas motorplex... and i have intakes and tp's, stock tires though.
