Mil Eliminators

I like many other 07' owners seem to be having issues with testpipes throwing codes, even with the non-foulers. I was curious if anyone has thought of trying the mil eliminators? Can get the parts pretty cheap @ radio shack...
Has anyone tried this/

Curious about this as well. I have just stopped noticing the light anyways, but a cheep easy fix is something I'd be down for. I know this trick worked on my old WRX when I got rid of the cats.

I asked this before, an I don't think anyone knew what I was talking about.
Dealing with LT1s and LS1s, a false O2 sensor was made to send a fake reading to the ECU so that when test pipes are being used, it doesn't turn on the CEL.
I don't see why there hasn't been a manufacturer to make this for our car yet. Any word on these in the 350z world?

I think it is about $8.00 in parts from Radio Shack. I can put up a wiring diagram soon, I need to find it. Basically, it just tricks your ECU into thinking everything is just peachy with the exhaust/testpipes. I may just try em out to see how they work.

That link tells you what you will need for the simulators. As far as putting it all together, I have no clue. Might need a friend with some electronic back round to translate everything. Good luck and keep me posted.

That's one thing that surprised me coming into the Z/G world, is that virtually no one knew what an O2 sim was. They're well known in most other import circles, but for some reason the Z33 guys seem to stick to their non-foulers, J-tubes, etc.
I've used O2 sims on several VQ35 vehicles with the expected results, as well as some VQ30s.
They're widely and cheaply available, and are the only guaranteed way of not having the CEL illuminate for test pipes (at least for the newer Z's), IMO.
You can get universal dual-output sims for ~$40 from http://www.o2simulator.com/ , which will work for both downstream sensors. Of course you'll need a sim for the heaters as well, but that's easy to construct out of a couple of resistors (or get it for $10 from the above site). eBay has them for cheaper (par for the course, with eBay), but you've got the typical unknowns from sellers there.
Just my thoughts.

there was a member on here (vitviper) who tried using the o2 sims on his 07 z with test pipes, but that didnt work
as far as i'm concerned, there is not CEL fix for the 07 right now
