Default VG35HR Engine F/I question, not the usual one. just look.

Well 1 month ago one of my buddiest went with F/I with an eclipse. They crashed him by the back the first day he got the turbo installed and dyno'ed. He told me to find out of anything of this kit fits my car and he will sell it to me for DIRT CHEAP, when i mean CHEAP i mean CHEAP. I know he had a GReddy E-Manage, im going to his house to look at the turbo charger itself and see what it is, im sure its a turbonetics. i do know its a SINGLE turbo. Is there any way these parts, well mainly the turbo would be able to fitted on the 350z, while doing all custom work, like for example the piping and etc. Im willing to make this work if i can snug his kit for cheap.

I was thinking I was going to go this route with my Z, although with a kit made for the 03-06 Z, and was quoted just for the custom work about 8-10 grand just for the piping and custom work. I would just wait for the kit and have the piece of mind that this kit was put together specifically with the 07+ HR motor in mind. Just my .02

It honestly would not be a deal. No one on this board has a piggy back tuned HR yet, this is the biggest hurdle at the moment. Though you would have an emange, turbo, and likely wastegate and BOV, You still have to come up with your own twin intake with MAFs that is not currently available. True, you could probably use existing available exhaust piping for your hot side and downpipe, you have a lot of custom fab to work out the details of, and if you are not a fabricator, this is going to cost. Also, if it is known, it's not posted, the wiring schematic for the HRs to install your emanage, and don't forget new injectors and fuel pump. I would love to see it done though, I am tired of waiting, if the schematics where readily available and the solution to dual MAFs was addressed, I would go for it myself!

if you can get it really cheap, snag them anyways, because there will always be people out there who needs turbo, piggyback, bov, etc etc which are interchangeable/universal parts in case your turbo plans fall thru...

unless u have some hookup on fabbing the piping, the whole process will be a nightmare and end up costing you tons of money. i'd wait on a true HR kit and that will still come out cheaper.

so let me get things cleared out a bit because its still kind of cloudy for me. if i buy his emange from his turbo eclipse, can i benefit from it? keep in mind that ill prolly get it for like $50, and its mint condition only used for around 1 day or less i was there when he put it in and took it out literally. i would need to buy the fcon like the person above said right ?

You can hardwire the emanage or wait on the greddy harness. They should have one eventually because they are using an emanage with their kit.
