Default Berk HFC dyno

2007
350z - vq35hr - manual - nismo lsd - stock intakes and filters

base line
nismo exhaust

then
nismo exhaust + Berk Metalic HFC's

Second run on both

Dyno jet - 78 degress

I was surprised by the A/F going from 11 ish to 13 ish. I have been talking about the results so I finaly got them from the shop.

Is this to lean or right on the money? I have heard the 13 is just right for N/A. My 05 z would start at 13 and then go to 10 ish @ 6400 rpms

Those are great results! Looks like a solid 15 to about 20hp gain at 7000+. Thats got to feel great up top.

Wow nice! I would love to go faster but I'm not sure if I want to change the sound of my Nismo exhaust...

Yea the nismo does sound totaly different. I am still on the fence about the sound. Some days i like it other i dont. The dyno video is in the media section. I think i posted it here as well.

The car feels so much better.
Now with the AF already at 13 would a tune do anything? I guess keeping the TB open would help the top end. You can see them shuting and the fuel getting richer on the dyno after 7000.

Nice numbers man.. I got the same mods, and those numbers make me excited.
Sound wise is similar; heres a vid BEFORE i got nismo gaskets. After I got gaskets the car actually went back to sounding like the Nismo w/o HFCs more.

Are you using OEM gaskets on your nismo or Nismo gaskets?
Nismo gaskets took away some rasp. Before My cats had to be more warm to have no rasp, Now after a couple minutes after startup rasp is gone.. (But if you drove easy there was never rasp to begin with)

This is the route I am wanting to go. Nismo gaskets, you say? I am worried about it being too loud though...

^test-pipes will obviously gain more hp, however, i wouldn't give up the sound for that extra hp. Testpipes + Nismo = Loud as ****
