im curious to c what my exhaust will sound like kind of worried and excited at the same time. i almost went with AAM but i couldnt resist FI quality i got them 350 shipped from TH motorsports
I dont know anyone who has used an O2 simulator on an HR with success yet. everyone always says yes it works then come back a week later to say the CEL came back. If somebody has done it successfully tell me who cuz I need to do it too.
When you get it installed, PM me. I want to compare the sound of your exhaust to mine. I have a Nismo Exhaust with High Flow cats. I don't get any drone what so ever and when I WOT it screams. I get alot of compliments. I hope that the Resonated TP's sound good but with out a rasp. "Rapiness is next to Riceiness."

When you use test pipe correct me if im wrong will you not loose torque? There is no back preasure like a HFC would have. I know when I was into my sr20 cars we only used test pipes being that the turbo got recieved back preasure from the down pipe ect.

you lose a little low in power when you have test pipes because there is no backpressure, but gain at high rpms. You will see if you get some. And the best bang for the buck for NA is a plenum spacer.
You don't lose power because there is no backpressure. You don't want backpressure. You lose power because you lose velocity. There is a balance between flow and velocity, and when you find that happy medium is when you make the most power.
Think of blowing through a straw and a paper towel tube. The straw has more velocity, less flow, but the paper towel tube has more flow, less velocity. Somewhere in between is where you want to be.
That being said, yes, you will probably loose some torque in low rpm's from decreased velocity, but when the rpm's increase, velocity isn't as much of a problem as the mass of air expelled by the engine is greater so you end up with more power when the engine speed overcomes the decreased velocity from less of a 'restriction'.

back pressure gives you low end tq. I don't care who u are if you put a cat back exhaust and test pipes you will notice lose of power at lower rpms. Almost Every vehicle I have owned I have put exhaust and resonated test pipes on had the same effect.
