300whp does not seem possible. my guess would be around 270whp-280whp, depending on the dyno that is used of course.

congrats on the reflash. this is definitely something i'm doing, later.

I have already dynoed at 283 so if its below that the dyno is broken. I would estimate around 290-295. If it is 300 that would be nice but I dont really care about HP numbers, at this point I am more concerned with the improvements in my 1/4 mile time.

Just mention that on the special instruction on the information sheet.
Price is $550 + shipping.
We usually see 10 - 15 gain on both torque and HP, but that is also depends on what type of mods you got on the car now.

Sales
Technosquare, Inc.
I call BS I spoke to the tuner who does the programming and he said that it wasn't worth it for them to develop a 93 octane specific tune. Either they lied to you or lied to me. Either way I wouldn't lose sleep over a 91 vs 93 octane tune.

I'd still like to know for sure if they do or do not have it available. The reason i asked, and received the response i posted above, was because they specifically mentioned it in a post here https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...5&postcount=64

I'm a little confused about the gas issue, i thought everyone had access to 93 octane fuel. . .and by having to use premium fuel while in stock form wouldn't you have to keep using 93 as you keep modding. . .?

^ only 91 is available widely in california

also that seems like a great turnaround time hope you get the thing on a dyno and i def. appreciate the fact that you're not going to lose sleep over 3-5hp just so you can say you dynod 300+ like one of the other threads I saw

i also appreciate the fact that youre actually going to be wanting to trap a better time and thats really refreshing...

i hope this intake debate doesnt continue on this HR sub-forum cause its getting pretty damn annoying [just a side vent =)]

hope youre having fun with your new reflash

i lived in FL and TX (93 octane) and now live in CA (91 octane). You will not notice any difference moving between either octane levels.

I live in Dubai united arab emirates and over here we only get 95 and 98 octane fuel. I'm guessing there would be some kind of difference between 98 and 91 octane. Do you guys have any idea if Technosquare could program my ECU for 98 octane fuel.

they might give you something generic if you tell them you basically can only get race gas. might give you 2+ pts of timing over everyone else. then again they might just tell you they dont have anything for that.

your way to count octane is different... it's like in europe.
us 93 octane is ~ europe/middle east 98
us 91 octane is ~ 95

Am thinking about doing this too, anyone have any dyno numbers to show the difference? I'm putting on a HKS exhaust with high flow cats and K&N drop in filters - right now I'm thinking of just doing the factory ECU reset and do this later on.

Thanks Hoooper, that's helpful, I've never thought to search before.

Is it just me or are half the posts on this forum "search search search". I agree that there are a lot of stupid questions here, I'm not looking for general dyno numbers but rather this guys specific ones since he's in a similar situation to me. And I wasn't asking you I was asking him.

Hoooper I'm sure you'll use this as flame bait. Just remember what you learned when you were little (or should have). If you have nothing helpful to say then say nothing at all.

...rant over...

no seriously. im not trying to flame you, but there are threads on the first page of this section that have dyno's posted with intake/exhaust. there have no joke been a lot of threads and posts about it.

https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/320191-07-hr-reflash-completed.html

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....320191&page=13

those are from this page of the forum. there are other dyno's in that thread as well.

BTW, you didnt ask for "this guys numbers", you asked if anyone had any numbers to show the difference, which is very easy to find, i didnt even search. if i knew you meant his i wouldnt have said anything at all, i have no idea about his numbers

Edit: hope those threads help you out

Hoooper,

Then let me apologize for my little rant. I just hate all the "search stupid" type posts these forums seem to have. For some reason they seem much worse than other forums I read. So please accept my humble apologies.

Back to our thread - I really did mean from this guy but I will check out those links...

yeah, i know how you feel about the search thing. a lot of times its not really a "go search" subject on this site. just a little misunderstanding on what we meant. hope that thread helps
