Default VQ35HR specific Zex Nitrous kit just arrived

I still cant find anyone that makes a colder plug for a HR, anyone know?

If not, I am only going to run a 75 shot, probably shoot for a 350whp 350z

They forgot 1 of the nozzles, so they are sending me another one. Since I believe so much in the stock intakes on this car, I think I am going to weld some 304 together and ditch the stock plastic pipes for the nitrous. There are adaptors (they even give you a tap) used for the OEM intakes though.

Ill be doing an install video with dynos.

Fuel Fitting that clamps the stock line and then use the small supplied line to fit back onto the other side, no cutting of fuel lines

To keep out any CELs, Zex puts a resistor on the TPS wire

just incase your still confused...

good stuff man.. are you going to run colder plugs? How detrimental do you think this kit will be for your motor in terms of engine longevity?

You should always run colder plugs when possible with a nitrous setup...and how is he supposed to know. Until some people blow motors and test the limits no-one can do more than speculate. 75 hp should be safe for a reasonable amount of time, but who knows how long...

And my question is....window switch?

Never really need one, its just convenient is all. I'd have one just for the "one less thing to worry about" aspect.

No-one has said colder plugs are out, best bet would be calling a shop though, edit- I knew that, I was just trying to clarify why you'd mentioned it.

Just curious because I know nothing of nitrous and never thought of using it, but what is this window switch that you talk about?

2 rpm pills u put into a MSD module that intercepts a tach signal to turn the nitrous (or anything for that matter) on and off at designated RPM points

as does any major power adder, but the luxury of a plug and play kit like this is that it comes out easy.

lol what will you do with the bottle and bottle mount when you take it in? also quick question. what would be an rpm you would set this "window switch" to I know it is preference but obviously you dont want it at 3,000 rpms so what would be a good setting? Thinking about possibly doing this.

For the plugs check with Performance Factory since they have done a couple turbo kits on the HR's already and I'm sure they used a 1 step colder plug.

3000-3500 is ideal, shut it off right before redline
